Lady Gaga drank whiskey to calm her nerves around music Legend Tony Bennett

The 28-year-old star told E! News: "The second
we were within the studio together, it absolutely
was so magical. we were bouncing improvisation
off one another and we were happy. i was
keeping a whiskey beneath my stool because i
was terribly nervous to be around him.
"And then, gradually, we became bigger and
greater friends. and i assume because of that, our
singing became more and more honest and more
and more authentic."
The 'Bad Romance' hitmaker credits the 88-year-
old singer for reigniting her passion for
performing.
She said: "He's the explanation that i am here
nowadays, that i am still creating music, that i am
still excited to create music.
"Even singing with Tony now, going back traveling,
it's utterly modified the way i'm on stage. It truly
revived one thing in me that i have never felt in a
few years. it is a sure resilience, a definite
confidence."
The star's family are extremely happy with her
for collaborating with the legendary singer.
She said: "As an Italian-American girl, the largest
things for us in our lives is making our dads
proud, and my father has never been more happy
with me than he's right away."
